ROME’S REWARD
DENIES GOD’S GIFT!
Desperately struggling to hold my breath, I was three or four feet below the ocean surface. I couldn’t clasp my life jacket. My laced up shoes and heavy clothing were pulling me down. This for me was my personal door of death. Would I have gone first to purgatory or was I on my way to hell itself? As time moved forward, this came to be a most troubling question.
I grew up as a Roman Catholic in southern New England. Although I was never one of those “dyed in the wool” types of Catholics, I still prayed the rosary from time to time, especially when worried or concerned about some matter in my life. Generally, however, I was not a very religious person.
In my early forties I nearly lost my life in a boating accident off the coast of Charleston, S.C. That changed everything. I had not been to confession in years and my gray hairs were on the way.
DESTINY
My eternal destiny became a genuine question of concern and the Catholic teachings of the catechism were not showing any clear answers. They appeared in fact to be in complete conflict with the central message of the Bible (God’s WORD).
As I read the New Testament I began to observe some very glaring red flags along my personal roadway. What follows reveals just where my search led, as well as some very life changing and profound conclusions.

JOHN 12:48
Even before I began to discover those red flags, I found a quotation from Jesus Himself which really caught my attention. For me it was a giant alarm bell!
Here in the last portion of that scripture Jesus says, “The WORD that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:48) This for me was a very sobering and scary warning. I think that this should shake any devout Catholic to the very core. My conclusion was simply this: Jesus Himself is our judge and His very words of scripture will be the only basis or criteria for our final judgment.
I WAS NOW ON A QUEST
Ultimately none of us escapes death. After that comes our final destination…either in heaven with God or eternal damnation in hell. I just had to know the truth. I just had to find some answers.
WHERE TO LOOK
Several Christian friends suggested that the true and correct answers regarding eternity were to be found in the gospel itself, so I started there.
I. THE GOSPEL DEFINED (Webster’s Dictionary)
Here the gospel is defined as the ultimate message concerning Christ, the kingdom of God and the plan of eternal salvation.
II. THE GOSPEL DEFINED (Holy Bible)
God’s WORD in the Bible says this: “…that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (I Corinthians 15:3,4) This is the only actual gospel definition shown in the Bible. It is not complicated and for sure it is not rocket science! Even a five year old should understand that message.
Think of that. The very heart of the gospel is that Jesus died for our sins! The simplicity of this most clearly implies that he paid for ALL OF THEM. “…the BLOOD of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from ALL SIN.” (I John 1:7)
ALL does not mean just the larger “mortal” sins, as Catholicism chooses to call them. Jesus also paid the price for all our lesser “venial” sins as well.
“Mortal” and “venial” are man made Catholic terms. They appear nowhere in God’s scriptures (the WORD). Also these terms or concepts are found in no other religion known to mankind.
THE GIFT
The Bible also states most emphatically that salvation is a GIFT from God. This GIFT is freely available to anyone who will simply receive it through FAITH as just that…a GIFT with no strings attached. “For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
In his epistle to Titus, Paul also states it this way, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done [sacraments and purgatory], but according to his mercy, he saved us.”
(Titus 3:5)
The following is another scripture which fully supports that statement of salvation as being a free GIFT. Remembering the words of Jesus, “the WORD that I have spoken,” please carefully read this next verse.
“For by grace are you saved through FAITH and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God, not of works lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2: 8,9)
When the apostle Paul said,
“Not of yourselves” and “not of works,” I as a Roman Catholic could only take this to mean not of sacraments and for sure not of purgatory.
FAITH
I came to realize that one’s FAITH in that very GIFT of salvation is perhaps the most central theme to the entire Bible. In fact this very theme seems to echo throughout the scriptures of God’s WORD. Please observe these following scriptures.
“The just shall live by FAITH.” (Habakkuk 2:4)
“The just shall live by FAITH.”
(Romans 1:7)
“The just shall live by FAITH.”
(Galatians 3:7)
“The just shall live by FAITH.”
(Hebrews 10:38)
BLOOD
There is one additional most central word which must be included in order to tie the words FAITH and GIFT together. This word is BLOOD, and it is indeed most central to the gospel itself. The Bible makes this explicitly clear when the apostle Paul proclaims, “Without the shedding of BLOOD, there is no “remission.” (Hebrews 9:22)
As I began to understand the truth of what that last verse was teaching, I then knew for certain that neither the water of baptism nor the fires of purgatory could (as I had been taught) possibly remove my sin.
Neither of these involves the BLOOD of Jesus. Baptism is simply an ordinance of obedience to the gospel and the concept of purgatory involves no BLOOD whatsoever.
CONCLUSION OF GOSPEL DEFINED (Bible)
Perhaps to put the Bible’s gospel definition in a nutshell, salvation should be defined as a free GIFT from God to man. It was paid for exclusively by the sinless BLOOD of Jesus Himself. When a person receives that GIFT through FAITH alone, he then becomes saved…he does in fact become “born again.” For more on being “born again” please refer to the third chapter of John’s gospel.
III. THE GOSPEL DEFINED
(Roman Catholic)
Actually no specific definition is provided. The Catholic plan of salvation does, however, involve five specific sacraments. These are baptism, confirmation, the Holy Eucharist, confession–penance and extreme unction. These five sacraments involve a certain degree of effort (called works) on the part of the individual or his priest.
Finally, after death, there is purgatory. The doctrine of purgatory is primarily aimed to help satisfy the debt owed for lesser, venial sins. Purgatory is taught to be a place of temporary suffering. Certain indulgences are offered. These are viewed as an attempt to lessen the time of temporal punishment in purgatory. Special prayers, masses or even certain pilgrimages might qualify. The list seems to be endless. Indulgences are of man made Catholic doctrine. They have no basis in scripture. Masses said by priests are supposed to reduce one’s time in purgatory.
SO LET’S SUM THIS UP
The Holy Bible (God’s WORD) defines the gospel of salvation as a GIFT from God which can only be received through FAITH alone. Roman Catholicism, on the other hand, defines the gospel likewise as a GIFT; however, certain strings are attached. These include five sacraments together with the doctrine of purgatory. In reality, an individual must help to provide for his own salvation by way of sacraments and purgatory. Hence it is realistically viewed as a REWARD.
I think that any person who is honest with himself must come to realize that the Catholic Church loudly proclaims that the BLOOD of Jesus unto itself is simply not sufficient. This very position appears to proclaim in a not so subtle way that Jesus is indeed a LIAR!
MONEY FOR BLOOD… … WHAT?
I found it most disturbing to read over the Catholic position, especially on purgatory.
Money is sometimes paid through donations to the church for masses which are fully intended to reduce a departed person’s time spent in the tormenting fires of purgatory. None of these efforts can possibly have anything to do with the remission of sin. Please remember that only the BLOOD of Jesus can do that.
…And so there you have it, twisting and perverting the word of God at its very best. The sheer, arrogant absurdity of that teaching appears to defy all human logic. It is a most hideously depraved concept. Grown and well-educated men of the priesthood actually believe and teach these things. By virtue of their stark departure from the true teachings of Jesus and the apostles, it so appears that they do in fact condemn themselves to eternal damnation in hell.
TWO WARNINGS
Yes, that is a very abrupt statement for me to make. Please let me explain. I have shown thus far how the gospel of God’s Holy WORD and the gospel of Roman Catholicism are dramatically opposed to each other. One is a GIFT, while the other is a REWARD. Below are two warnings from God describing the
TERRIFYING CONSEQUENCES
To all who refuse to obey His gospel of free grace.
FIRST WARNING
In Galatians chapter one the apostle Paul states, “But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you…let him be accursed.”(Galatians1:8, 9) Virtually all Roman Catholic priests are fully guilty of a stark departure from God’s Word. It likewise appears to follow that they are all under this very curse of God. Paul’s next warning reveals their future.
SECOND WARNING
In II Thessalonians the apostle Paul issues a very frightening warning in a most profound way. This pertains to either the preaching of or simply believing any false gospel such as that of the Catholic Church.
Paul says, “The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God and that OBEY NOT the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ…who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power.”
(II Thessalonians1: 8,9)
CONSIDERATIONS
As I considered these warnings, I came to a horrible and most frightening realization. I then knew with absolute certainty that what I had been taught to believe was in fact a most genuine rejection of the true gospel of God’s Holy WORD. My belief in a non- existent Catholic purgatory together with my continued prayer to Mary (Hail Marys) had me bound with a mindset of defiant disobedience. Beyond all of this and to make matters even worse, I came to know for sure that my own family was headed for the same disaster.
Indeed my Catholic Church had taught me to “OBEY NOT” the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
My personal doom in flaming fire was clearly spelled out in that scripture from II Thessalonians.
ANOTHER WORD FROM JESUS
In the gospel of John, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by me.” (John 14: 6) The apostle Paul says it this way: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
(I Timothy 2: 5)
DESPAIR
As I began to consider the entire message thus far, and then to contemplate those last two verses, my anxiety really began to intensify. I felt my heart spiraling down in a whirlwind of despair.
Apparently those confessions to the priests and all those rosaries said to Mary were never heard or acknowledged by God.
There are lies on every level. The scriptures are twisted, distorted and perverted all across the board. I had a sick feeling in my gut and felt like throwing that Catholic catechism into a trash dumpster.
TOTALLY LOST
I knew for sure that I was totally lost. I will never forget that day as I sat alone in my office. I vividly recall saying, “Mary, I guess you are going to have to sit this one out.” In a rather soft whisper, I actually said those words.
I lowered my head with teary eyes. I told Jesus Himself how truly rotten and sinful I had been. I pleaded for his forgiveness over and over again. Those last two scriptures had truly placed my heart against the ropes.
I thought back to that boating accident, struggling underwater while holding my breath, desperately attempting to clasp my life jacket and to get my tennis shoes off of my feet. I was at the door of death and the very jaws of hell itself.
Would it have been purgatory? Absolutely not purgatory. My Catholic Church had me headed to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire. They had simply taught me to fully embrace a false soul damning gospel. Without realizing it, I had been taught to reject a most wonderful free GIFT from God. Instead, I had been taught to embrace a concept where my own efforts were seen as being vitally necessary to help provide for my personal salvation.
I was rejecting the true gospel of Jesus. I was in fact rejecting Jesus Himself!
PART II
GOD’S ONE TRUE CHURCH??
Even as young children, we were all told that Jesus Himself had personally established our Roman Catholic Church. We were also told of it being God’s “one true” church and therefore salvation was not possible outside of our church.
My entire family including my great grandmother had all heard and truly believed that message.
As for myself, however, my personal near death boating accident had literally struck fear into my heart. This in turn began my intense search. Hopefully my ultimate conclusions will dramatically benefit you as they did myself.
My search to find the absolute truth eventually revealed many, many shocking red flags. While it is very tempting to list and then elaborate on all of them, I have decided to concentrate on only four.
HERE IS THE MAIN FOCUS
As I expand on each of these four red flags, I hope that you will simply ask yourself if Jesus could have possibly established the Roman Catholic Church? Please also consider that if their claim was actually true, then it would follow that only flawless harmony would exist between God’s WORD in the Bible and the Roman Catholic catechism. Rather than harmony I could only find dramatic discord! I suspect that you will be quite shocked.
RED FLAG # 1 THE TEN COMMANDMENTS REWRITTEN
Did you know that our “one true” Catholic Church took it upon itself to rewrite the original Ten Commandments? Please check any Bible and find where God gave them to Moses. (Exodus 20:3) Now check your Catholic catechism.
The second commandment forbids the making of graven images. This would include images or statues having a likeness of anything that is in heaven above. This commandment has been completely removed from the Catholic catechism. Following that, the tenth was then split into two separate commandments. So now, once again, there are ten. God’s second commandment, however, remains missing. Apparently Catholicism now declares that it is totally immune from God’s second commandment.
PRETTY STATUES
Perhaps the omission of the second commandment fully explains why those pretty statues are all over the place in every Catholic Church. God’s second commandment forbids that!
PRETTY COSTUMES
There must also be a similar reason for the presence of those many colorful religious vestments as well. Some worn by bishops are always PURPLE. Others worn by cardinals are always SCARLET. PURPLE and SCARLET seem to be truly eye appealing colors in many people’s opinion. While all of this misleading attire is not specifically mentioned in the second commandment, it is seen by many as a diverting distraction.
THE REASONING
I contemplated what might have been the reasoning behind the fraudulent removal of that commandment. I could only imagine that the original intent was to have the Roman Catholic Church appear to be very HOLY and thus deceptively enticing.
That intent might be most effective especially to the minds of unsuspecting and impressionable people when first visiting those churches. This approach had worked with me as well.
PERSONALLY TRAPPED
I personally remember how those beautiful statues of Mary and of Jesus on the crucifix appeared to me as a young boy. Was this God’s one true church, or was that tactic simply another soul damning deception?
Regardless of how you may view this second commandment omission on the part of Rome, God’s WORD and His Law are most clearly violated!
A DIRE WARNING
Please be assured that almighty God must truly despise these statues, the phony vestments and the fraudulent church which tramples on his sacred ten commandments
He even has placed a dire warning for such behavior at the very end of His New Testament. Here is how it reads: “And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall
TAKE AWAY his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:19)
This sounds to me as a sentence of eternal damnation in hell. God’s “one true” church?
Very unlikely.
RED FLAG #2 A WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING?!
I want to share what appears in Revelation 17 and 18 of the New Testament. Here the Apostle John portrays a wickedly apostate, soul damning, false religious system. It is vividly exposed by God Himself. It is a most graphic picture of seduction, manipulation and deception.
I strongly encourage you to find a Bible and read this for yourself. Within the framework of these two chapters, God has provided some truly rock solid clues to its identity.
FEMALE IMAGERY
In scripture the imagery of a female is very often used to designate a religious system. Here in these two chapters God describes this false church as a great whore or prostitute that sitteth upon many waters. These are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.
Revelation 17:1 and 17:15 describe her vast worldwide influence.
HER COLORS
In three separate places her revealing colors of PURPLE and SCARLET seem to almost jump off the page. These are Revelation 17:4, 18:12, and 18:16. I knew without question that the reference was crystal clear. Roman Catholic bishops always wear PURPLE while Roman Catholic cardinals always wear SCARLET.
HER RESIDENCE
This woman resides upon seven mountains or hills. She is also that great city reigning over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17: 9 &18)
NO MISTAKE
Please make no mistake. God’s portrayal of this city is striking and precisely accurate. It is a most explicit description of Vatican City itself. Virtually no other city in the world could possibly fit God’s description here. Almost all Bible scholars (including Roman Catholic writers) seem to concur with that assessment.

You can’t be serious!
RED FLAG #3 PURGATORY—
A HORRID DOCTRINE OF DENIAL
At the time of my boating accident, I had at least a partial belief in purgatory. As time moved forward, however, I came to view that teaching as a most horrid doctrine of denial. This teaching insists that salvation can only ultimately occur as a REWARD for an individual’s personal suffering (after death) along with that of Jesus Himself. As for this claim, God says absolutely NO! With unmistakable clarity, God’s WORD says that salvation can only be a GIFT.
Please remember that the apostle Paul said it this way, “For by grace are you saved by FAITH, and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: not of works (sacraments and Purgatory) lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians II: 8,9)
A RADICAL COMPROMISE
Purgatory then is a most radical compromise to the true message which the WORD of God teaches. It runs in fact totally against the very grain of God’s most precious
A FRIGHTENING REALIZATION
By insisting that salvation can only ultimately come as a REWARD, one must conclude that the GIFT of God is thereby nullified. This to me was a frightening realization. I had finally come to the point where I viewed the entire Roman Catholic system of salvation as a most arrogantly stark denial of God’s most precious GIFT to mankind.
THE REWARD DENIES THE GIFT Rome’s system including the sacraments plus purgatory is a most genuine rejection of the true gospel of God’s WORD. In essence, Rome’s REWARD denies God’s GIFT. Purgatory denies the actual sufficiency of Jesus Himself. This is the mockery of God at its very pinnacle.
God’s “one true” church ?
Absolutely impossible!
RED FLAG #4 TWO CURSES COLLIDE!!!
Perhaps you may recall from earlier in this message where the apostle Paul issued a very strong warning in his epistle to the Galatians. It reads as follows, “But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8) Paul’s reference here is to the gospel of God in the Bible, where the just shall live by FAITH alone.
Now I want to share something quite astounding. Roman Catholicism has a curse of its very own. It reads as follows, “If any man shall say that justifying FAITH is simply trust in the divine mercy, remitting sin for Christ OR that it is by FAITH that we are justified, let him be accursed.” (Roman Catholic catechism, Council of Trent)
Two similar curses appear under justification canons 9 &12, as seen under Council of Trent session six.
PLEASE STOP
Do you realize the full impact of what you just read? Here our own Catholic Church is in fact cursing the gospel message teaching of God’s WORD.
Perhaps I need to say this in another way. Here we have a church which was supposedly established by Jesus Himself caught in the very act of cursing the teachings of His own Bible.
Talk about outright arrogance, there is obviously something terribly wrong with this picture. God’s WORD boldly declares that the just shall live by FAITH alone. This FAITH is fully apart from any REWARDS such as sacraments or purgatory.
God’s “one true” church?
Not even remotely possible! This church could only have been established by God’s notorious enemy. Obviously his very own forces of darkness are likewise deeply involved.
Simple deductive logic provides no other conclusion.
RED FLAG SUMMARY
Each of those red flag positions reveals a truly titanic clash between Almighty God and His chief enemy.
First There was a shameless, bizarre rewriting of God’s Ten Commandments.
Second Here the Bible describes this false church as a “great whore.” (Rev. 17:1) She wears PURPLE and SCARLET. Her residence is Vatican City, Italy.
Third Here I have exposed a REWARD based Roman Catholic system of salvation which fully contradicts and thus refutes God’s most precious FREE GIFT of salvation. Simply stated, Rome’s REWARD denies God’s Gift.
Fourth This final red flag reveals a truly colossal impact between two opposing curses. Here God’s most preciously sacred gospel comes under attack by Rome. It is a monumental defining point where almighty God and the most deceptive Forces of Darkness collide.
BULLET PROOF VALIDATION
As I considered all of my findings, I knew with absolute certainty that I could no longer remain a Roman Catholic. I had finally come to a point where I had rock solid, bulletproof validation that true Christianity and Roman Catholicism are completely contradictory to each other.
YOUR BIG QUESTION
Two separate curses were clearly shown under red flag #4. So which of those two are you yourself under? Basic logic simply demands that it must be one or the other.
Personally I fully embrace the FAITH ALONE gospel of GOD’S WORD. For this very reason, Catholicism emphatically insists that I am under the curse of Rome. As for you, however, this question still remains.
SO WHICH CURSE IS IT?
What if you remained steadfast in your reliance on the sacraments and purgatory? Also, what if you were to lose your life in that present state of mind? Well, then what?
Because of your insistence on following the gospel of Rome, there would be trouble on your horizon. Paul’s first warning (Galatians 1: 8, 9) is
TRULY TERRIFYING.
This warning clearly confirms that as you left this world, your defiant choice would have placed you directly under that HORRIBLE CURSE of God.
DIED IN YOUR SINS
The WORD of God declares that you would have died in your sins. I am only telling you here exactly what the WORD of God teaches.
As a staunchly devout Catholic, YOU WOULD NOW BE DOOMED! Please go back and read Paul’s second warning. This one appears in Second Thessalonians 1: 8,9.
IT IS HORRIBLY FRIGHTENING!
WELL, THEN WHAT?
There are two judgments after death.
First— All saved (born again) Christian believers will appear at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
(II Cor. 5:10 and Romans 14:10)
This judgment is not for punishment, but rather for rewards. These rewards or crowns are for various works which were done after receiving salvation. They are never FOR salvation! Salvation is only granted by God when the true gospel is received by FAITH alone.
Second–the other judgment, however, is where you personally will be headed. This one is called the Great White Throne Judgment.
(Revelation 20:11-15) You may want to look that up as it is your
MOST CERTAIN DESTINATION.
This judgment is reserved for all of those who have ultimately rejected God’s true gospel of free grace. Catholicism clearly teaches a person to emphatically reject that gospel.
All who appear at this judgment are cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity. Your judge (and mine) will be Jesus himself. Please be assured that He will not give you a wink and a free pass, even if you had said ten thousand Hail Marys.
I repeat: if you indeed trust in the Roman Catholic system of salvation, then you are headed for eternal damnation.
DISTURBING
What has been written above is a very gloomy and disturbing message. Please be assured that I did not cook this up. My intent was rather “to shake you up.” Thankfully you are still above ground as you read this. There is surely hope for you. It is a most wonderful hope. I shall show you that in the final section.
PART III A PLAN OF ESCAPE
WHAT IF?
Perhaps you too find yourself at a crossroads which you had never expected to face. Maybe you are very nervous about the whole matter. There is a feeling of lonely uncertainty and despair hidden away in the far corners of your heart.
Desperate questions begin to swirl inside you. “What if my REWARD based sacraments and belief in purgatory are unacceptable to God? What if He really sees me in denial of His GIFT? Just yesterday I found a command by God Himself to leave the Roman Catholic Church.” (Rev. 18:4) The list goes on and on. With gut wrenching anguish in your heart, you sit trembling.
JUST IMAGINE
Imagine that you see yourself trapped in a room filled with Roman Catholic deception and bondage. Directly in front of you is a fire exit door. Imagine that you hear someone knocking on the outside of that door. You listen intently. You hear in your heart those exact words which Jesus spoke so tenderly.
“Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev. 3:20)
Very nervously you slowly open the door. In front of you stands the spirit image of Jesus Himself.
He is the creator of the universe and the final judge of all mankind.
With outstretched arms He leans forward, whispering gently.
“The BLOOD of Jesus Christ His Son (God’s Son) cleanseth us from
ALL SIN.” (First John 1:7)
You are shaking terribly as those two words ALL SIN reverberate down into the inner core of your soul.
Trembling uncontrollably, you fall to your knees in front of Him. You are weeping and surrendering all at the same time. You plead for His forgiveness. Repeatedly you invite Him into your heart and your life forevermore. Those two words
ALL SIN have become permanently etched into your heart. You have in fact been born again. (See John Chapter 3).
A SINNER’S PRAYER
In the past few paragraphs I chose to use a slightly different approach. Perhaps you may want to consider another way. A sinner’s prayer like the following might be more suitable for you.
Pray to Jesus in your own words. That is the important part. You might say something like this: “Dear Jesus, Thank you for allowing me to see the false gospel of Roman Catholicism. I reject it. I now accept your sacrifice as all sufficient. I invite you into my life as my Savior and Lord. I fully trust your FREE GIFT of salvation.”
YOUR DECISION
Having realized your terrible dilemma, I can only hope that you have already or that you are soon to talk with God Himself. Jesus is the only mediator acceptable to God the Father. God will not tolerate prayer to Mary or confession to any priest. God’s WORD makes this crystal clear!
(See John 14:6 and I Timothy 2:5).
After I finally received Jesus through FAITH alone, I began to feel that the chains of intense anxiety and bondage had finally fallen away. My spiritually blinded eyes began to open wide. Outwardly I appeared just the same. Inside, however, I was a totally different person.
No Roman Catholic can finally understand that concept until he or she fully surrenders to Jesus Himself. It is only then that he or she can possibly receive that FREE GIFT through FAITH alone.
Not to do just that is the absolute worst mistake that any person could make in his or her entire lifetime.

As I conclude this message and those outer wrappings of deception begin to fall away, I can only hope that I have been somewhat successful in exposing the terrible wolf. He is an ugly and savage creature who wears colorful, pretty costumes.
Please be very careful as his repulsively sinister fleece is most often PURPLE and SCARLET.
Regarding that terrible wolf, Jesus Himself said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are RAVENING WOLVES. (Matthew7:15)

WHAT IS A CULT?
The Christian Defender Magazine defines a cult as basically
any group that claims to be Christian or incorporates Christian terminology
into its teaching, yet contains doctrines which contradict, add to or subtract from the Christian Bible. By this standard, Roman Catholicism is a textbook example of a genuine cult.
Cults also use mental and spiritual intimidation to keep their followers enslaved and Rome is very well schooled in those techniques.
Roman Catholicism clearly teaches a person to emphatically reject God’s gospel of the Bible.
“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” ( Acts 5:29)
